STM32F4 Multifunctional Embedded Platform

An integrated STM32F405R firmware platform combining real-time temperature monitoring, WAV playback, USB mass storage, and a touchscreen interface on one MCU.

  • Migrated from bare-metal to two concurrent FreeRTOS tasks with a mutex-protected SPI bus shared by ILI9341 and SD card.
  • Built SD-card WAV playback with FatFS, ping-pong DMA buffers, DAC, and TIM6.
  • Resolved USB MSC enumeration and LCD flicker; added an XPT2046 driver and custom 16×16 bitmap font.

16-bit Multi-Cycle Processor Design on FPGA

A complete 16-bit multi-cycle processor, implemented and extended in Verilog for the Intel DE10-Standard FPGA board.

  • Designed an 8-register file, shared-bus multiplexer, ALU with z/c flags, and FSM control unit.
  • Implemented mv, mvt, add, sub, ld, st, AND, and conditional branch instructions.
  • Added memory-mapped I/O for RAM, LEDs, HEX display, and switches; verified with ModelSim testbenches and assembly programs.

Air Quality Monitoring & Alert System

An end-to-end environmental monitoring node that senses air conditions locally, displays them live, and sends alerts remotely.
